Windows DHCP Monitoring

Can the DHCP wizard in Nagios XI be used to monitor windows DHCP servers? Or is that strictly for Linux? Anyone have any solutions out there that have worked for them?

I believe the DHCP monitoring wizard is generic in that it will check for whether a dhcp server (linux or windows) will serve up a dynamic ip address using standard DHCP/BOOTP server/client protocols udp port 67 and 68.
