Import Host and Service Groups

Hi All,

I have had a search around and haven't found an answer to this ( I think I have looked through all the pages in CCM as well but may have missed something)

Is there a way to import a list of Host groups from a text file or CSV in a similar way that we can do the Bulk Import for hosts?

I have an empty installation of XI at the moment and would like to Import a list of Business Services and Host groups from file so that they are in place when I start adding hosts etc.

Is this possible or is it a manual process to add each one?

You can do bulk importing, but not from a csv. If you were to put complete and correct configs into /usr/local/nagios/etc/import and either go through our import document, or use the reconfigure_nagios.sh script, it should import them. It may take a few steps though, as objects with missing dependencies will not be imported until those dependencies are met.
