Re: Integrating SNMP TRAPS
Thanks for your advice.
But I am just unfamiliar with the trap.
How do I load the mib nagios server?
How I must configure the files and snmptt.ini snmptt.conf.
You can attach examples of my files?
How do I tell nagios to the specific traps must be managed in a certain way?
Thanks bye
Diego

Re: Integrating SNMP TRAPS
http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagi ... ith_XI.pdf is a good start, but doesn't get you too far. snmptt is quite well documented too: http://snmptt.sourceforge.net/docs/snmptt.shtml
as for snmptt.ini, make sure you don't forget to configure strip_domain_list!
as for how nagios handles the traps, set up traps with trap monitor for each host you want to receive traps from and then treat as a normal service.
