Removing Scheduled Downtime Problem

Post by costanza2k1 »

I'm trying to remove a series of downtimes that were set by accident. Everytime I removed them from the 'mass acknowledge' page they make it back to the downtime screen again? Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong?

Are these setup as Recurring Downtimes? If so, they will automatically add themselves back in.

I believe so they were done by staff and they did them wrong :/ if they are recurring is there a way to get rid of them all? at this point I just need them out.

Have you tried removing them from the reoccurring downtime page? Home->Incident Management->Reoccurring downtime. You should be able to use the X there and remove them forever.

we tried that...do we have to remove them from both places so they don't keep someone back?

Not that I know of, I know you keep your systems fairly up to date, are you on 2014R2.1?

Actually none of them show up there...they only show up on "Scheduled Host Downtime"

OK, let me give 1.5 a test and see what I come up with!

Thanks! Meanwhile we're trying to remove from both places and then just waiting to see if they pop back up.
