Post by Jos3D »

Hi, I am trying to install nagios network analyzer and I am having this error after ./fullinstall command.

rrdcached-rrd_daemon.o: undefined reference to symbol 'eval_client'
note: 'eval_cliente" is defined in DSO lib64/libwrap.so.0 try adding it to the linker command line

Any help is gonna be appreciated

Let's start with the basics:

What OS are you installing on?
Is this a physical machine or a virtual machine?
What NNA package or image did you download to do the install?
Is there anything else running on this machine?

Hi, thanks for your answer, and here is the info:

OS= CentOS7
Virtual Machine but I also have a physical machine; I am trying to install in a virtual to test nna and if the product works as I expect I will be installing nna on the physical...
NNA package is= nagiosna-2014r1.9.tar.gz
There is not another program on virtual machine (also I have disabled iptables, selinux)

Thanks for your help

I have a vague memory that NNA does not install out of the chute on CentOS 7. If you can, try 6.6 and see if that works for you. If you need 7, then I'll see if I can figure out what I am remembering that makes me think you have to do extra work.

You should have an install.log file that got created as part of the NNA install. Can you attach it here so we can look?

Also, you might want to check out http://support.nagios.com/forum/viewtop ... 29&t=30814, which may have the help you need.

Thanks. I'll let one of the Nagios developers take it from here. :-)

We have not added support for CentOS 7 yet. With the next release of network analyzer we may be supporting CentOS 7 but that won't be for a little while.
As of May 25th, 2018, all communications with Nagios Enterprises and its employees are covered under our new Privacy Policy.
