Ok so far so good! Lets leave this open till Monday. If the issue does not happen over the weekend, I think we call it resolved.

Ben,

Yours still working good? My logstash keeps stopping on my 2 servers and want to verify you think this fixed yours.

Thanks!

So I'm curious, then. We've got NLS running on a box that's been up for almost the entire time since the Nagios 2014 World Conference in October. We did restart it in early January for new updates, but it's been running like a champ without any issues. Is this logstash stopping thing specific to a certain type of install or is it just that we haven't hit some threshold yet to make it crack?

Can't be a threshold related issue as my cluster isn't doing much at all...less than 1 GB of logs.

No word yet from Ben. Bandit, any plans to test the patch? Or are we waiting on a response from the test subject?
