Unable to Apply Changes or modify changes on NagiosXI

I am unable to add the device on Nagios XI as it's throwing error as below. We notice unable to apply the Configuration. Please check the following log and advice ASAP.
Just FYI, We haven’t edited the configuration file till now.

What XI version are you running?

I am using Nagios XI 2012R1.7 Copyright © 2008-2015 Nagios Enterprises, LLC... please help me on this ...

Can you post or PM me your /usr/local/nagios/etc/contacts.cfg file please?

Also, 2012R1.7 is quite old, and once this issue is resolved I would strongly recommend upgrading to a newer version if you are able.
