Where are dashboard configurations held?

Post by DaveHUoK »

Does anyone know where user dashboard configurations are held on a typical linux install?

One user added a dashlet to their home dashboard, which attempts to display a status grid of services against hosts. However on our setup, this is a 1,300 x 3,500 grid. This hangs the browser for a long time trying to display it and it is so large, any icons to remove are beyond the scrollable edge of the dashlet.

What I would like to do is just remove the references from the config files or database, however I can not find anything regarding dashboard configuration in any of obvious config places.

They are all in postgres, but it would be a novel to explain how to access them.

The best bet would be to deploy your home dashboard to this user using the dashboard deployment tool which will overwrite their existing dashboard.

Just DO NOT check the keep synced button and the user will be able to make modification to their new dashboard

Wow, that was far easier than hacking the database. Thank you
