Re: monitor WebSphere Applicaiton Server on windows machine
Can you elaborate? What have you tried so far? Can you show us the errors/issues you were getting? Post a screenshot if you need to.yes, but not finding helpful solution to this.
What you need to do is:
1. Decide which plugin you would like to use
2. Test it to make sure it works from the command line
3. If it doesn't work, try another plugin and if it works, proceed to setting up a command/service in Nagios XI.
For more information on how to manage plugins in Nagios XI, please review this document:

Re: monitor WebSphere Applicaiton Server on windows machine
The link you send, if we do that approach will it work. because what i am thinking is, that we have installed nagios xi on linux, and we have remote window machine where we installed websphere. will that monitor websphere jvms etc..?
Re: monitor WebSphere Applicaiton Server on windows machine
do i have to download anything on my remote windows machine ? since we have nagios xi installed on linux

Re: monitor WebSphere Applicaiton Server on windows machine
It depends on what method you choose to check the system with. If you are using a plugin that runs from XI and connects directly to the websphere service then you shouldn't have to do anything on the windows system. But if you are trying to call a plugin which runs locally then you would need to set up an agent on the system to call it via XI.
