How to install nagios 4.0.7 or 4.0.8 from repository, not by compiling. ?

However it is likely most repositories are not that current, to get the latest and greatest, you usually need to compile....

Nagios 4.0.8 is not in one of the centos repos. You will need to build from source if you want 4.0.8.
