Everything else is working fine. We can add/delete hosts from CCM GUI. Nagios is able to talk to kupndb001.

Code: Select all

kapnxi001:/usr/local/nagios/var/archives # ping kupndb001
PING kupndb001.core.kmtltd.net.au (10.232.130.143) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from 10.232.130.143: icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.353 ms
64 bytes from 10.232.130.143: icmp_seq=2 ttl=64 time=0.246 ms
64 bytes from 10.232.130.143: icmp_seq=3 ttl=64 time=0.214 ms
64 bytes from 10.232.130.143: icmp_seq=4 ttl=64 time=0.363 ms
64 bytes from 10.232.130.143: icmp_seq=5 ttl=64 time=0.287 ms

Can you connect to the remote database from the nagios server?

Code: Select all

mysql -u nagios -p'<password>' -h <ip or remote database> nagios

We may need to move this to our email ticketing system and try to recreate the issue in house. Can you send your latest configuration snapshot to [email protected]?

I don't see the ticket in the our system (unless someone already took it and replied to you). When did you send it? What is the email that you sent it from? If the "from" address is not in our system, your email will bounce back.

Hi,

I tried to raise a ticket, but it seems my email account is not registered with you. I have been contacted by one of your sales guy Josh Manley in this regard. I am trying to register my account. The person who was admin of Nagios has left and I have taken his position.

I have raise the ticket again today with separate email account. I believe that is registered with you.

Let me know if you have issue finding the ticket.
