Monitoring AIX 7.1 with Nagios XI?

I started down the road of testing out the aix-nrpe agent and found that is not supported on AIX 7.1 How are do your customers with AIX 7.1 hosts monitor their systems?

Precompiled binaries for AIX 7.1 are not available, however it should compile on a system with the supported prerequisites.

We do not currently have pre-built binaries for 7.1 You will need to download the source and build it yourself.

OK, thanks for those links. I am going to look at nrds for starters and see if it will do what I need on our AIX machines and if not I may come back to this.
