Hi I'm trying to run the Nagios XI vm(2014r2.6 64bit) under Virtualbox (4.3.22 r98326) on a Mac OSX 10.10.3. This is only on this system for me to trial the system.
The VM comes up ok, and I can open a webbrowser to the system. I stay with the defaults for install. once I click install, the page goes to "Connection reset by peer". I can reopen the browser to the login, but the username/password does not work. I've deleted the VM and tried again using customized user/pass/email addy. same hapens at login, and when I click forgot password, it says no such username.
Is there something I can do to get into the system, or something I'm missing?
I've checked and both the nagios and mysqld services are running.

Did you follow this document to convert the VM, so that you can open it in VirtualBox? Have you tried opening the VM in vmware player/workstation? Can you show us a screenshot of the error that you are getting?
