Nagios Repository does not create

Post by [email protected] »

I created an NFS server on CentOS 7 and shared a directory to the Nagios servers, but I'm unable to create the repository in nagios that would point to the NFS share. Is this configuration supported? or maybe I'm using the incorrect format.

i.e: X.X.X.X:/var/nfsshare/

where X.X.X.X is the NFS server IP

thank you!

Yes, this configuration is supported. Have you already connected all of your Nagios Log Server nodes to the NFS Share? The Web GUI will not do that part automatically. The share needs to be mounted on the same directory in each node. The permissions on the share should be nagios:nagios 770.

After this has been completed, then use the GUI to define that mount point as the backup repository. Let me know if you need further help. Thanks!
