How did these hosts come into NagiosXI in the first place? Was it through CCM or was there some alternative means such as manual config file hacking or an import?
Would you be averse to providing us a profile.zip from your XI instance, and if not would you also be willing to indicate the hosts that won't let go? Finding out where they are in the config is probably fairly trivial, but would be much quicker if we could steer the keys instead of posting back and forth asking you to do it for us. If you can provide a profile.zip - please PM it, don't post it publicly.

Re: Hosts Deleted in CCM but still shows in Details
Please close this thread. I turned up debugging and searche around for any issues. I found this in cmdsubsys.log
Message: A database connection error has been detected, we are attempting to repair the server, if the repair does not resolve the issue, please contact Nagios support.<br /><br />Run the following from the CLI as root to attempt to repair the DB<br /><br /><pre>/usr/local/nagiosxi/scripts/repair_databases.sh
I ran the above script. Nagios corrected the situation (repaired).
I then went back into XI and was able to successfully delete the hosts.
