Re: existing object shows as unconfigured object in wizard
I did use the same subject, but missed the URL.
Don't think that matters as I've inherited this setup, my email is not in the XISupport ACL, and my email got rejected.
How do I go about accessing support?
Thanks,
-Jason

I just checked to see why your email bounced back and found out that you upgraded your license but the contact emails for some reason didn't transfer. I am sorry about that!
We added all of the contact emails to the new license. You should be good now but it may take up to one hour before you will be able to send an email to [email protected].

Re: existing object shows as unconfigured object in wizard
If you can, post the corelog.newobjects and the host/service configuration files for the passive checks that are not being properly accepted. There should be an exact match between checks that have been accepted and their respective configuration file host_name or service_description values. Tracing through the code you'll find that the JSON encoded corelog.newobjects file is parsed and new configuration objects created as if these checks were created with the passive object wizard.
If in fact you are getting "unique" checks and just don't realize it, and you don't want to constantly manually accept them, then I can outline how I created a utility to do this at my company.
