I am getting the following error when applying the configuration:
Error: Host 'PTHA-Nagios' cannot be a child/parent of itself
It is not configured to have itself as a parent, but I continue to get this error.
Any ideas?

Also, can you go to: Config->Core Config Manager->Hosts, find your host (PTHA-Nagios), click on the "Modify" action button, then click on "Modify" parents (under "Common settings" tab) and send us a screenshot?
When you use the "Write Config Tool" what kind of errors are you getting? Can you post the output?
What version of Nagios XI are you running?
