I was looking around at getting a license for the NagiosLogServer free edition and was told the trial would automatically revert to the free license after the trial expired.
This is what I'm experiencing and I'm unable to start any of the services.

I can confirm this behavior and filed an internal bug report (TASK ID 5408).

Sorry about that, you can enter FREE in the license field and it will change to a free license.
In future versions we will have a button that can be clicked.
