I used Network Switch / Router monitoring wizard with Version 2.1.7 to get BW and router status. For one of our router, there are times that it have BW result of IN: 0Mbps Out: 0Mbps. It should be not be in 0Mbps because it is always in use. Other router's BW are working fine.
Please help why does this happen?
Current settings for Warning: IN=5Mbps Out=5Mbps; Critical: IN:7Mbps, Out=7Mbps. Max Speed is 8Mbps.
BW results: 0Mbps
BW results: 0Mbps

Re: BW results: 0Mbps
Generally these types of holes can be attributed to SNMP timeouts or other data delivery problems. SNMP is a UDP protocol so if it doesn't have a good network to traverse sometimes querys and/or responses get lost. Is this switch/router perhaps at a remote location? If so what type of network is between the locations, if any?
Can you verify that you were getting good interface counter data during the timeperiod that the rate was at 0? Perhaps looking at your service history (the little icon that looks like a paper scroll) will identify some potential data retrieval problems?

Hi jdalrymple! Router is at the remote location. You are right. There were packet loss whenever mpls is fully utilized. Thanks.
