OpenVMS on Itanium

Is there a working agent for OpenVMS 8.3-1H1 running on an Itanium blade?

Currently we haven't tested to see if the nrpe-agent will compile on OpenVMS. I've had a discussion with another user that was able to make it work when SSL was on an older version but was having trouble getting it to compile on the most recent version. If you have any insights on whether or not you're able to get it to work let us know. We don't have OpenVMS hardware to test on.

If you can get me what I need to compile (what language?) I have a test system I can try to compile it on. If you can email me the code as an attachment to [email protected], I can get it the rest of the way to my system on a usb drive. Thanks.

The latest code for the NRPE agent is available on sourceforge:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/nagios/ ... nrpe-2.12/

Any tips or patches you come up with would be helpful. We might have to defer compiling questions to either the nagios-devel mailing list of the nagios-users mailing list on sourceforge. You might come across someone else who's done it before.
