Can you go to Core Config Manager > Configuration Snapshot on the left hand side of the screen,
Select the View Output icon on the latest Config Error and post that here so we can review it?

File is there from 1/29 which was the date of the OG config I posted by accident, contents are:

Since it's just 2 comments I don't know why it would break or fix anything. What changed between the time when you got the error that you removed (and I quoted) and the current 7419 Warnings/0 Errors config?

I started changing Host commands through the Gui this morning. And after about 8 hosts (it applied config each time) the apply seemed to get longer and then it just took a nose dive into it's current state.

I was specifying the host to use a ping back script instead of the default host check ping because the servers were behind a firewall preventing Ping. I really can't believe that the actual config changes were the problem..

Especially now that I did a restore to a clean config from 4/6 and it's still in the bad state.

You could put crappily configured hosts/services/contacts/etc into the db all day long and it shouldn't have any capability to raise that error - or more interestingly clear it up between 1:01PM and 1:23PM CDT.

You could put crappily configured hosts/services/contacts/etc into the db all day long and it shouldn't have any capability to raise that error - or more interestingly clear it up between 1:01PM and 1:23PM CDT.

I messed up when I posted that error, I since edit'd it out. That was a bad config from 1/29/15 and I didn't notice it when I posted it. I then edit'd it out and put in todays config results.

Especially now that I did a restore to a clean config from 4/6 and it's still in the bad state.

What is a bad state? Is the monitoring engine still offline? When you say you restored from 4/6, did you do a full restore, or just reverted to a config snapshot? It sounds like full restore - which should negate any possible database issues.
