Nagios Email from Title

Hello guys,
I want to change the nagiosxi email from for instance ([email protected]) to [email protected].

The setting to change this can found under Admin->Manage Email Settings, called 'Send Mail From:'.

I have changed it to [email protected] then I send a test email but no mail was coming. I changed back to Nagios XI <[email protected]> and the mails start coming.

It may have been identified as spam, check your spam folder.

I have checked but I did not see any mail spams.

Are you using sendmail or SMTP for email? (You can this setting in the same place you changed the 'from' address.)

I am using smtp. Am I missing something or what?

In that screenshot it looks like the 'from' address is still set to root@localhost. Try changing it, click 'update settings' and then try sending a test email.
