Greetings !!
In the latest version of NSClient ++ you can configure NRPE autenficación connection using certificates, allowing encrypt communication between servers.
Does the current version of NRPE allows use this feature?
As published in the "https://www.nsclient.org/forums/topic/old-1342/" forum, NRPE still does not.
I wonder if this is so and if they have considered adding this feature in the future.
Thanks
Check_nrpe certified to NSClient ++ 0.4.x

It's not implemented and doesn't have a projected timetable. Our focus regarding plugins is NCPA.
NRPE isn't being abandoned at all and is still the flagship plugin today, however development is focused elsewhere.

You're welcome. For what little it's worth we are aware that it's a feature people want and it's also one we want to implement, quite possible the biggest feature for that project. There are active feature requests in our tracker and as I mentioned it's not abandoned. It's just not under heavy development right now because of NCPA.
