Check at a specific time

Post by JohnFLi »

Is it possible to set a check to happen at a certain time daily, or weekly?

The purpose is becasue there are a few items that I want to be notified about, but only once, and have the notification happen while i'm at work.

Kind of.

Using a custom timeperiod is the key.

If you're interested in collecting consistent performance data for the check so you have nice performance graphs then you would define the custom timeperiod on the "Alert Settings" tab of the service under "Notification period".

If you only want the check running at specific times of the day, then you would define the custom timeperiod on the "Check Settings" tab of the service under "Check period".

Give it a try and let us know how it works for you.
