cfg files are rebuilt every time you apply config. If after running apply config you have 0 byte cfg files you may still have database corruption. Still - the proper way to fix that is to do a restore. For now I'll leave this open, it doesn't sound like you're entirely out of the woods.

So if i restore to an earlier local backup, that would resolve any database corruption correct?
I then upgraded to R2.7, got an error but resolved that.
now i am in the process of re-importing my hosts and services via the bulk import wizard.
Is this sufficient?

Code: Select all

cp: cannot stat `/usr/local/nrdp/server/config.inc.php': No such file or directoryIs this sufficient?

Yes, this will re-create your existing configurations. You may need to do some other things like upload any extra plugins you've added in the past.nyoung wrote:now i am in the process of re-importing my hosts and services via the bulk import wizard.

Existing performance data can be restored as well. All existing performance data is in /usr/local/nagios/share/perfdata/
