NagiosXI Enterprise 2014R1.5
RHEL 6.5 64Bit
We have an instance of XI in version 1.5 and want to upgrade to version 2.7.
The catch is it has no internet access.
Can you please advice how to do offline installation for this?
Thanks.

Re: Upgrading XI from 1.5 to 2.7 offline
How was the server installed initially? Our offline procedures have changed quite a bin since 2014R1.5 was released.
Was it installed online then moved offline? Do you remember which technician you worked with?

Yes, it was setup online and moved offline to another datacenter that has no internet access.tmcdonald wrote:How was the server installed initially? Our offline procedures have changed quite a bin since 2014R1.5 was released.

Re: Upgrading XI from 1.5 to 2.7 offline
That makes it a bit easier since we can ask you directly: How was the initial install handled? Was it a simple "Minimal CentOS/RHEL -> ./fullinstall" or were there more steps involved?
The reason I ask is because we have an offline install procedure currently, but the upgrade will likely not be compatible with a system that was installed using the online method then moved offline.

Yes minimal install with RHEL and ./fullinstall and the installation of all the oracle, vmware clients etc.tmcdonald wrote:That makes it a bit easier since we can ask you directly: How was the initial install handled?
