Check_mk Notification

Post by Roxyyo »

Hello everybody!
Im very frustrated at the moment but i think that you guys can help me out there :)
Currently i am switching our Nagios Monitored Hosts to Check_MK (1.2.2p3) and im almost done there. The custom checks and Notifications are running and im really happy with check_mk! But i just cant help my self with the Notifications... Of course i googled a lot (maybe i am too potato :D) and read a lot of stuff...
To start off with my Problem..:
I configured Hostgroups and a few Contact Groups. Lets say i have the Hostgroup Windows which includes a machine called win7. I have defined Checks (for example ZombieProcesses) and the inventory checks like CPU and RAM.
I have assigned The Host "Win7" to the contact Group "Admin" - the notifications are sent like expected. Now i want to assign another ContactGroup "Customer" for a specified Check (like the ZombieProcesses Check) so that the ContactGroup "Customer" only receives Notifications as soon as ZombieProcesses turns into warn or critical state. In conclusion: I want the Hostgroup Admin to receive notifications for every warn/critical state on the Host machine (working for me at the moment) and a second group which only receives Notifications for a chosen Service or Check.

I hope i provided you enough information - Im pretty new to Nagios and CheckMK :)

Thanks in advance guys!
