how and where do I change SNMP comm name
Where do I find the SNMP community name for a host that is being monitored by nagios, through the web interface if there is a way? Also do I have to change it on all the services tied to that host / switch like monitoring the status of a port?

Core configuration manager services most likely:
Configuration --> Core Configuration Manager --> Services.
Locate the appropriate service(s) and you can change the arg as appropriate.
We have tools for mass changes of some items in the Enterprise version, unfortunately arguments aren't an item you can change. In order to do bulk changes to arguments you'll have to do database manipulation which we don't support at all and, and don't recommend unless you REALLY know what you're doing.
