Is there any way to go back and check if a host/service had been scheduled for downtime?
As part of an investigation, I need to report on the Downtime period and who scheduled it. I looked in the Audit log but couldn't find it there.
regards... Fred

The history component written by Troy could maybe help you out?

Re: Reporting on SCheduled Downtime
Thanks Willem - & Troy for the Component!
It almost has the needed info. If I schedule downtime for a Host, then the entry appears in the History Tab.
However if I cancel the downtime from the Scheduled Downtime page , no entry is created for this. Is this a bug ?

History on Scheduled downtime is currently a feature request for that component. I plan to update it soon, just been busy with other stuff ... if only I didn't need sleep

Thanks Troy - It certainly is a great feature - so your efforts are much appreciated.
Currently the History does show when downtime is scheduled - what's missing is when downtime ends or gets cancelled.
What's also missing are other actions such as Enabling/Disabling notifications.

Re: Reporting on SCheduled Downtime
Fred, can you submit a review, and request these additions to the component on the Nagios Exchange?
https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/A ... ab/details
This way, this will not "fall in the cracks", and Troy will have a reminder.

Nagios Exchange NEVER emails the owner of a project when someone submits a review, which makes it very hard to know when someone does.
I only find out about these by manually going and looking at each individual project

Very nice Troy!
Just installed it. One small thing I noticed, is that it seems not possible to see who disabled or enabled notifications. The user is always 'Authorized User'.
