Nagios ignoring "Recurring Downtime" schedule since 1.7

I upgraded my NagiosXI to 1.7. I have three services that routinely go down per schedule at 11PM for a backup service to run. Builds pre 1.7 would work correctly but with 1.7 NagiosXI is ignoring my recurring downtime schedule. I've deleted and rebuilt the downtime schedule but the issue still is present.

What do I need to look for as to why this is happening?

AWS, this is the first I've heard of it, I'm going to try replicating your issue and see if I can trap this monster in a box.

We have some issues with "Recurring Downtime" which may or may not be related to your problem. You can take a look at the bug report here:

Meanwhile, we are testing a possible fix for it and will be applying it in the next release.
