I wanted to see if WebInject is still considered useful for use in Nagios XI. I see that it has not been updated on GIT sense 2013 and a lot of questions have no answers.
Is it wise to even use it at this point? If not, will Nagios be coming up with a replacement plugin or module?

Re: webinject status
Could you link the plugin page? It should still be compatible.

Not sure what you mean by "Link the plugin page"?
Are you referring to the github for webinject... If so then..

It's definitely still useful, if a bit outdated. But as a wise programmer once told me, "Code doesn't rust like an old car if left to sit".
We don't have any plans to come up with a replacement since that would be a pretty huge undertaking that would be tiptoeing on the wrong side of the "in/out of scope" line.
