How to Integrate Nagios Fuison with Service Now??

Hi Team,

We have requested for Unlimited Licenses and we received a communication from Nagios team stating that it will take another 10 days to get the activation keys.

In the mean time.. I have couple of questions, could someone please help me by providing the required details.

1. How to integrate Nagios Fusion with Service Now? Is there any port that needs to be enabled during this process.. I am completely new to Nagios.. Could someone help me in explaining the concept in Detail please???

2. Our client needs other monitoring tools to be integrated to Nagios Fusion (other tools like Whatsup Gold, CA Willey, NimSoft, UC4) could someone please help me how can i do it and what port needs to be opened in this process.

3. Also we are planning for HA (High Availability) for Nagios Fusion, is there any procedure and Process document that I can go through for the same? If yes, please share with me..

Nagios Fusion is meant to integrate directly with Nagios Core and Nagios XI. We do not provide support for integration with third-party applications.

Although there is no documentation for Fusion directly, there is a lot of material available for various methods of achieving HA in Nagios XI. The general idea revolves around traditional HA solutions such as VM-based hot-swapping and Master-Slave failover. Here are some relevant links to get you started:

Again these methods might not 100% apply to Fusion directly, but the general concept is the same.

To expand, briefly, on what @tmcdonald wrote, Nagios Fusion is designed to offer a quick "dashboard"-like interface to multiple Nagios Core and/or Nagios XI servers. It does not do any monitoring or alerting of its own.

Nagios XI and Nagios Core, however, are monitoring products, both of which can integrate with Service Now to create tickets issues within Service Now. Having said that, you may want to investigate having Nagios Core/XI do the monitoring, Service Now do the ticket tracking, and Fusion doing the dashboards for your Nagios Core/XI installations in the future.

Nagios Fusion is designed to be used with Nagios Core and Nagios XI. No other monitoring software is supported. Therefore, you might be able to find something on your favorite search engine, but I know of no integration documentation with anything other than Nagios Core and Nagios XI.
