Please, follow the tgriep's instructions from the other post to repair the database (last command). Most probably, this will fix your issue.

I ran the command

mysqlcheck -f -r -u <username> -p<password> --databases nagios -h xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

At some point after, everything was displaying as "Applied". I made a change to another host, it still says "Not Applied". I ran the command again and nothing has changed.
