Force Immediate Check for Pending events

Post by brdr »

Hi,

We have XI 2014R2.7.

Is there a way within the GUI to force immediate checks that are presently in Pending Status?

Not built-in, no. What's your use case?

It was a question brought by one of our DevOps teams as they frequently build out VMs in there environment. Once they build they would like to force immediate checks to validate the services associated with new builds pass muster.

I know there is capability via the API (external commands) and there is almost the capability via the Incident Management->Mass Acknowledge->Schedule Immediate Check Command Type.

Indeed. I actually created a feature request to convert the mass ack component to more of a "bulk commands" component a while back. No idea what its progress is though. So at least teh devs are aware of this desired feature.
