Nagios XI connect To Host by SSH

Post by michaelli »

Hi support,
I would like to use the function "Connect to xxxxxxxxx" by SSH (putty) in nagiox XI GUI. But there is no response when I click connect button.
What setup I need to configure?

Follow this doc, and use the attached ssh.zip instead of downloading from the URL.

Hi tmcdonald,

Thanks for your support. Its work for your procedure in our testing PC.

For security issue, our user profile are not allow to run the update registry file. Do you have another method for running ssh connection without update registry?

One more question, this update registry is running on per user profile or host?

I don't believe so as Windows needs to know how to open the SSH url so it needs some sort of association. Perhaps tmcdonald will have more information on this.

The registry file that updates the computer is for the windows host, not required per user.
