Are you using a proxy? Is SELinux enabled? Have you changed any of the db passwords? Can you run the following commands and show the output in code wraps?

We are not using a proxy of any kind. This is a clean install of Centos 7 with NagiosXI installed directly after doing a yum update. I don't believe the db passwords were changed on the source install. The backup would not have succeeded otherwise when it logged in to do the backup.

There was a bug in the restore_xi.sh script when restoring a backup from Centos6 on to Centos7 system.
If you create a new clean Centos7 install, overwrite the attached file in this folder
then do the restore the backup from the Centos6 system, it should work for you.

I was able to restore and login correctly. I'm seeing an error for all my WMI services though.
UNKNOWN - The WMI query had problems. The error text from wmic is: /usr/bin/wmic: error while loading shared libraries: libsasl2.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Am I missing a required pre-req?

I followed the instructions for the Centos 7 section but didn't update the plugin. Everything is working now, so I'm sure the ln was the fix.

Looks like I spoke too soon.
Everything seems to be working except bandwidth monitoring. Nagios says the interface is ok, but it is 0 up/ 0 down information for bandwidth on every device. I verified I could do an snmpwalk on a test device, so I don't think that is it.
These are being monitored with check_xi_service_mrtgtraf . Perhaps I need to clear something that is cached to get it to start populating again.

The MRTG configs may not have come across.
You need all the files in /etc/mrtg/conf.d/
Copy these from your older server to your new server and in about 15-30 minutes the grapghs should start working.
Let us know if this fixes your problem.

Unfortunately this did not work. The strange thing is that the status says "Ok - Current BW in: 0Mbps Out: 0Mbps", and the graph shows a flat line after I migrated to the new nagios server. But the graph shows data for the last check. See screenshots.
