Glad it worked, if this code isn't on the Exchange you might consider polishing it up and posting it there. I'm sure a lot of people could find it useful.
The one other thing that might interest you is that you do have orphaned RRDs and XML. You can clean those up manually or alternatively eyeball this thread:

Excellent. I'll check it out.
Is there any way to use those old files to recover/merge past perfdata if changes are made to the service? I updated the name of this service and placed it on the host it will live on permanently, but of course the perfdata started over once I saved. If that info is in the thread, just say so and I'll check it out there.

Box293's tool is supposed to do merging. Unfortunately I can't confirm that, but I can say he's a heck of a guy so I doubt he's lying when he says it works.
