Is it possible for a user to create a custom Dashboard that has specific hosts and services that they care the most about? I have been able to create custom Dashboard for Hostgroups but I don't see any way for them to get a Dashboard created which has hosts that are part of multiple Hostgroups. Their primary reasoning is so when they conduct maintenance all their hosts are on their Dashboard and they can schedule downtime more efficiently. Is this possible or will I need to start creating custom Hostgroups as users request them so they can add to their Dashboard and run commands on all hosts?

There isn't a way to add specific hosts and services to dashboards.
Hostgroups and servicegroups are the only way to get what you need.
