Apply Configuration doesnt disappear after applied!

Post by agustin.roca »

Hi guys!

I 've just offload the mysql database to another host and everything worked ok. I didnt do any changes until now that i imported some commands, and templates and noticed that the sign "Changes detected! Apply Configuration for new changes to take effect." doesnt dissappear after Applying changes. The strange thing is taht i see the change and it is in the files ok. Also the other strange thing is that if i do a change in lets say a COntact group and apply, i still see the sign as it hasnt been applied.. I change a Hostgroup and apply and then i see that the sign dissapeared from the Contact groups tab but it is in the Hostgroup section now. How can i debug this? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Can you run the following in an ssh session on your Nagios XI host.

tail -f /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/cmdsubsys.log

Then go into CCM and Apply Configuration.

What output is produced in the SSH session?

Thanks Box293 for the tip. It seems I cant reproduce it now :S

But next time it happens i know where to look. The output looked normal with no errors.

Will leave this for today and if it happens again will put the output.

Thanks!

Sometimes this is a browser/session cache issue. If it happens again either clear your cache and reload or take a look from a different computer.
