I have a group of hosts that are checked and assigned to a host group by a host template. What is the easiest way to add services to those hosts?
I have servers in host group 1 with host template 1. I want to monitor C Drive and Service A.
I have servers in host group 2 with host template 2. I want to monitor C Drive and Service B.
I thought I could create a service template and assign it to the hosts, but that doesn't work.

You can assign a service to a whole hostgroup by clicking "Manage Hostgroups" in the CCM for that host.

Okay, and that will not assign anything with that service into that host group like it does with the host template?
Re: Link Service Template and Host Template
When you add a service to a host group, the service will be added to ALL members of this particular host group.
So, you can add all hosts on which you want to monitor "Service A" to "hostgroup 1", then add the check for "Service A" to "hostgroup 1".
Do the same with "hostgroup 2" and "Service B". You can add the check for C Drive to both hostgroups.
As you add new hosts as members to "hostgroup 1" or "hostgroup 2", the "Service A", "Service B", and "C Drive" services will be automatically added to each new host.
