What happens if you delete the systray.dll file and move it to C:\Temp\ ?

It shouldn't be this complicated. I suggest:
Uninstall NSClient++
Delete C:\Program Files\NSClient++
Install NSClient++.

Seems to work now with a fresh install. I was trying to upgrade the old client to the latest one that's why systray.dll was not there. I'll work this out myself.

Thanks very much for all your help.

No worries. It can be frustrating getting sidetracked with small issues that have nothing to do with what you are trying to achieve.
