Never mind I found the issue, had to add '::1' to /etc/httpd/conf.d/nagiosxi.conf
And the good news is that my issue with the schedule immediate forced check also seem to be solved.
Would the Nagios team mind if I (one day) make a post on my website how to set up Nagios XI that is exposed to the Internet with the 'deny from all' in /etc/httpd/conf.d/nagiosxi.conf ? Or do you guys prefer to keep this 'quite' to prevent security issues?
Installation instruction for XI on CentOS 7?
Re: Installation instruction for XI on CentOS 7?
As long as you aren't posting anything malicious, I don't think anyone here will have much to say about it. It may be something we will need to refer to as "Not endorsed by Nagios" in case people do get compromised, but ultimately it's up to them whether they enable it or not.WillemDH wrote:Would the Nagios team mind if I (one day) make a post on my website how to set up Nagios XI that is exposed to the Internet with the 'deny from all' in /etc/httpd/conf.d/nagiosxi.conf ? Thanks. I'm still tinkering around with the 4x display bug. I'll probably be in contact with you regarding that.WillemDH wrote:Thanks all. This thread can be closed.
