NSclient++ Socket timeout after 10 Sec error
NSclient++ Socket timeout after 10 Sec error
I have installed NSClient 0.4.3 agent on server. Server I can ping and RDP still when I on-board it on Nagios, Get error "Socket timeout after 10 sec"
When I try to ping the server from tool, server shows non-pingable.
I have attached both the ping status from tool and from my desktop

Re: NSclient++ Socket timeout after 10 Sec error
To clarify a bit here... which server are you unable to ping? The XI server, or the server with NSClient on it?jyoti22 wrote:I have installed NSClient 0.4.3 agent on server. Server I can ping and RDP still when I on-board it on Nagios, Get error "Socket timeout after 10 sec"

Are you using one of our pre-built VMs, or was this an installation you did yourself?

Re: NSclient++ Socket timeout after 10 Sec error
I am unable to ping server with NSClient agent. This Server is up but from XI, its not pinging and I get error "Socket timeout after 10 Sec". I did the installation myself.
Re: NSclient++ Socket timeout after 10 Sec error
Can you post your NSClient.ini (with passwords and any sensitive information obfuscated)?jyoti22 wrote:I am unable to ping server with NSClient agent. This Server is up but from XI, its not pinging and I get error "Socket timeout after 10 Sec". I did the installation myself.
You're able to ping the server from the Nagios XI box, just not the XI program running on it?
