Hi,
My installation of Oracle plugin was failed due to our Nagios-XI server doesn't have the internet access (security restriction) . Is there any oracle plugin package for the offline mode installation? Or any other options?
Thanks
Allen
Oracle Plug-in installation for offline mode
Re: Oracle Plug-in installation for offline mode
What plugin are you trying to install? If you give me the name I may be able to assist you in looking. The oracle install I have in my setup here just uses NRPE.awang wrote:Hi,

Re: Oracle Plug-in installation for offline mode
Thank you for the quick reply.
Here is the link I was using to install the oracle client and plugins. This is a new Nagios-XI server we recently setup, I assume we will need to install the oracle client & plugins in order to monitor any oracle databases.
https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ios-XI.pdf
below files have been moved to the /tmp.
oracleinstall.sh
oracle-instantclient11.2-basic-11.2.0.2.0.x86_64.rpm
oracle-instantclient11.2-devel-11.2.0.2.0.x86_64.rmp
oracle-instantclient11.2-sqlplus-11.2.0.2.0.x86_64.rpm
Thanks,
Allen

Re: Oracle Plug-in installation for offline mode
There isn't an offline option for this but you could edit the oracleinstall.sh script to install the prerequisites locally, copy the needed files locally and try that.
