Nagios XI offline install errors

I'm trying to install nagios xi in offline mode on centos 6.5

It ends up with a list of missing dependencies. How do i get all those files?

Hi Smith,

I have few questions....

Generally, how do you do an offline install of Nagiosxi?

I tried to install the correct version of nagiosxi on centos6.5, but again there were lot of dependencies and due to the available internet connection in the machine "yum" tried to download the required dependent packages from online repos. However i cancelled the online install..

If it is going to download the packages from the online then, how do i call it an offline install?

Does the offline install means creating a local repo and having the packages there? What if i have machines with different flavors and different versions? How do i know what packages to put in the local repo?

Is there any doc or a pre-requisite list?

I have already seen that doc. But that doesn't seem to answer my questions.

Did you understand what i'm trying to know here?

Hey Guys,

After many unsuccessful attempts, i've finally managed to install xi successfully.

Steps i did:

1) Removed all the Nagiosxi packages and files.
2) i've tried to install the xi with ./fullinstall and it showed all the missing files.
3) Downloaded those rpm's outside linux machine and moved it to local folder.
4) Created a local repo ran the ./fullinstall and it took the files from local repo.

Now i'm trying to install in a custom location and i'll post further on the other thread.
