Unable to acknowledge down host in Mozilla Firefox

Post by uhiadmin »

Linux Distribution and version?
1. Cent OS 5.5 / 64 Bit
2. Manual Install
3. Gnome installed

To Nagios XI Tech Support Specialist:

I am unable to acknowledge a host problem from the "Quick Actions" box in Mozilla Firefox. This is not an issue when I use Internet Explorer. This issue did not exist before the upgrade to Nagios XI 2011R1.7. What can I do to fix this, so I can start to acknowledge in Firefox instead of Internet Explorer?

Do you get any error messages or nothing happens when you click on the "Acknowledge this problem" action button?
Can you try: right-click->This Frame->Open Frame in New Window? Does the button work now?

uhiadmin,

Are you unable to click the link or does it give you some failure message? What version of Firefox are you using?

Hi Scott,
Nothing happens and no error message. On the other hand, the Nagios is doing fine with the monitoring hosts status. I just cannot acknowledge them in Mozilla Firefox. Is this a bug with the new update?
