I won't lie, I don't know what the -s option is for. It doesn't matter, the fact that you've got this:

$ /usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_nrpe -H 127.0.0.1
NRPE v2.15

Means NRPE is working. Now we just need to get it to respond properly. Did you already put in the IP of the Nagios server in your allowed_hosts directive in the nrpe.cfg file? That is important. Try that if you haven't and let us know if there are any changes, good, bad or other.

This issue is resolved. The last issue I had was that those checks were not defined in the nrpe.cfg. After I did that it came up immediately and I've spent the last few days porting tsmmonitor over to our environment.
