Detecting [Browser] Mixed Content Warning

Hello, I'm about to begin a new, fairly large number of nodes Nagios XI implementation (unlimited license). I've had past familiarity with Nagios, but all of my searching in the last few weeks has yielded nothing in the way of a method to detect whether or not a secure (HTTPS) site will display the mixed content warning in the browser (in otherwords the page or one of its dependencies references something via HTTP). My client really needs this functionality. I can imagine implementing a web service that could, given a URL, parse the response HTML and look for this condition (of course it must recursively look through dependencies), but am hoping that someone else has needed this functionality and has a cleaner/more standard method.

Interestingly enough, if you go to the same URL under HTTPS: https://www.lexiconn.com/blog/2009/10/o ... uin-sales/, you can see this warning, at least in IE, Chrome & FireFox, in various forms.

I haven't heard of anything more sophisticated than what you mentioned.
