Nagios XI Web Admin login issues

I am having trouble logging into the web portal for Nagios XI.

I have tried the password reset through the htpasswd commands on the Nagios server under Root, but when I go back to the web portal it still will not let me log in with the new password assigned to the nagiosadmin account.

Is there a detailed instruction list for this process? I have tried other things listed on the web, and am having no luck getting into the web server now.

Using htpasswd will only affect Apache and the Core interface. For XI, you need to run this:

/usr/local/nagiosxi/scripts/reset_nagiosadmin_password.php --password=newpasswordhere
