Do you have NagiosXI and NNA on the same host?

That's not supported and likely where your issues are arising from.

Ha, I tried installing NNA. But it did failed. So it that causing an issue??
I don't want to have NNA on this server, but wanted XI back. Please advise..

Could you please help me with XI and cause we have Windows and Linux servers configuration pending, which is in critical deliverable's. Please..

Possibly a problem with your sudoers files.

Code: Select all

for file in `find /etc -iname '*sudo*'`; do grep -i nagios $file; done
Also, for additional troubleshooting, post the output of the following WHILE running apply config:

Code: Select all

tail -f /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/cmdsubsys.log

Please run the command and click apply config. If you aren't making changes to the system, nothing will ever show up in this log.

How about if you run the same tail command:

Code: Select all

tail -f /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/cmdsubsys.log
and in a 2nd shell run the script:

Code: Select all

/usr/local/nagiosxi/scripts/reconfigure_nagios.sh

Hi Jdalrymple,

I have tried running both the commands parallel, and no luck with cmdsubsys.log

please find the output:
tail -f /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/cmdsubsys.log

Also I have attached the output of reconfigure.sh

Also please find the output of nagios processes running,
